Wooroolin State School was established in 1901. The school is situated in the rural township of Wooroolin, 18 kilometres from Kingaroy and an hour's drive from the picturesque Bunya Mountains.
Our small student population draws from families in the Wooroolin and surrounding districts as well as the township itself.
Our school actively encourages collaboration between the neighbouring schools in our cluster. There is strong cluster collegiality between principals and staff. Students also regularly come together in a range of sporting, cultural and leadership activities.
Our school motto "Make Wooroolin Proud" is infused in all we do. Students are encouraged to reflect and act on our PROUD values (Productive, Responsible, Organised, United, Disciplined) daily. Our student leadership programme seeks to develop bright and caring citizens for the future.
Wooroolin school has maintained strong links to the community through its bugle band. The band performs at many ceremonies and celebrations and has been in existence for over 50 years.
